How to request a copy of your CDT test result from the DVLA?

The DVLA will usually not provide you with the result of your CDT blood test over the telephone.

In order for the DVLA to give you this information you will need to make a subject access request in writing.

You can make a subject access in writing by either post or email.

Email:

subjectaccess.requests@dvla.gov.uk

Postal Address:

You will need to include information to prove your identity and help the DVLA find the information you are requesting, such as:

  • Your name
  • Your address
  • Your date of birth
  • Your telephone number
  • Your driving licence number (if known)

You will also need to include details of the information you are requesting from the DVLA.

The DVLA should respond to your request within one month of receiving it.

If the DVLA consider your request a complex one there may be a delay in providing the information requested.

If there is going to be a delay in providing the information you requested the DVLA should write to you informing you why there is a delay and when you can expect a response.
